A bulb code is a starting point, not a complete fitment check. Before you shop for an LED replacement, confirm the exact position you are servicing—low beam, high beam, or fog lamp—using your vehicle owner's manual or a reliable fitment source. Different positions on the same vehicle may use different bulbs.
1. Record the code on the original bulb
With the light switched off and cool, inspect the original bulb and note its printed code. Compare it with the manual and the label on the lamp assembly. Do not assume that similar-looking codes or sockets are interchangeable. Our listing labeled 9006 and 9012/H10 LED listing are examples of product pages to review only after you have confirmed the code required by your vehicle.
2. Check the physical interface
Compare the base tabs, connector shape, retaining method, and space behind the lamp. An LED assembly may include a heatsink or other rear components, so check dust-cap clearance before installation. A bulb that plugs in is not automatically a safe or suitable match for a particular headlamp housing.
3. Confirm the listing before ordering
Read the product title, specifications, photos, and compatibility details together. If any of these disagree, ask for clarification before purchasing. Check current availability on the product page as well.
Finally, confirm the rules that apply where you drive and have the installed lamp's beam pattern and aim checked. Browse the Vypart LED collection to compare listings once your bulb requirements are clear.
